Weighbridge

A weighbridge, also known as a truck scale, is a large set of scales used to weigh entire vehicles and their contents. They are commonly used in industries where goods are transported by road, such as in the logistics, mining, and construction sectors. Here's a detailed look at weighbridges: Components of a Weighbridge
Load Cells: These are the primary weighing components. They convert the weight into an electrical signal.
Platform: The surface where the vehicle is placed for weighing. It can be made from steel or concrete.
Junction Box: This component collects the electrical signals from the load cells and transmits them to the weighbridge terminal.
Weighbridge Terminal (Indicator): Displays the weight of the vehicle. Modern terminals often come with digital displays and can be connected to computers for data management.
Software: Used for recording, processing, and managing the weighing data. It can also integrate with other systems like ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems.
